Pia Schmid is the designer of M/Y Alyssa Nile Cruise. Pia is a Swiss architect and designer that specializes in hotel architecture and design. For her talent and several projects, she is well-known and renowned throughout Europe. Her design philosophy for M/Y Alyssa is centered on color harmony, the ship's local context, and the use of handicrafts. While building on the M/Y Alyssa, an environmentally conscious mindset was established. All of the designs, furnishings, upholstery and cabin layouts were created specifically for M/Y Alyssa and not from a catalog, including the pure woolen rugs that were created for various spots on the ship to enhance the overall appearance. Exclusiveness: Unlike the majority of Nile cruise ships, The M/Y Alyssa is unique in that all of the ship's designs, layouts, and furnishings were created just for it.
